On the basis that your original plans had to be modified, could Oman/Yemen (via Dubai) be back on the agenda?? Now back in KG where warm sun has given way to warm rain. Veggies now in plantation. Last year's pruning of clematis working a treat! xx
I THINK you are still thinking of following Freya Stark's route in the HAdraumat but it would be on horseback and with a dictionary to enable you to negotiate with the bandits. Love Mutti
Finally, Dad and Sue are the winners for correctly guessing the mystery destination. We are currently in Muscat, Oman, but we are not going to Yemen unfortunately.
Well then, my next guess is Mauritius - that's assuming there is an airport there. Wherever it is, have a great R&R.
